Actor cum Director Fred Amata has been elected the President of the Directors Guild of Nigeria after beating his closest rival Lancelot Imasuen.He got 48 votes while Lancelot got 43 votes,others are Dickson Ireogbu and Kingsley Omefe  with 3 votes and 7 votes respectively
