Founder Earth Wind and Fire Maurice White Dies aged 74

               

The Founder and Vocalist, Earth,Wind and Fire,Maurice White has died,his death was confirmed by his younger brother and band member verdine white on Thursday,he said the singer passed away in his sleep, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease

Earth, Wind & Fire burst onto the music scene in 1975 with the number one single Shining Star and went on to have a string of hits through the late 70s and early 80s including Got To Get You Into My Life, September, Boogie Wonderland and After the Love has Gone.
