The Federal High Court in Abuja today denied Nnamdi Kanu bail , the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB,pending his trial.
Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi,who are also facing trial with him were also
denied bail by Justice Tsoho who maintained that the offence allegedly committed by the defendant “is a grave one that will attract severe punishment upon conviction”. which borders on treasonable felony, and attracts life imprisonment.It held that the right to personal liberty of any individual takes secondary place once the issue of national security is involved.
