
The Economic and Financial Commission Yesterday re-arrested the ex DG of Nigerian Maritime Administration and safety Agency Patrick Akolobokemi outside the High Court in Lagos after his trial was adjoined to January 18 by Justice Ibrahim Buba.
Plain cloths Operatives swoop on him and bundled him into a waiting van, he is been rearrested over a fresh allegation of N12,905 485 meant for the National Maritime University.
Of the sum, N11,737,854,485.00 was allegedly paid into a company suspected to be owned by Chief Government Oweize Ekpemopolo a.k.a Tompolo. He is also said to have diverted N816 million meant for the Voluntary International Maritime Organisation Members State Audit (VIMSAS).
