The counsel of the EFCC yesterday opposed the bail application filed by former NSA Col Sambo Dasuki before the High Court in Abuja.where he and other were charged for misappropriating N32 billion meant for Arms Purchase.
The prosecution in a counter Affidavit said Dasuki could escape if granted bail because of the severity of the punishment upon conviction, which awaits him.the prosecution also opposed the bail on the ground that as an ex military officer and ex NSA,he had the power to influence witnesses and in effect frustrate his trial.
