Christian Kabore Elected President of Burkina Faso

                            

Mr Christian Kobore a former Prime Minister of Burkina Faso has won the presidential election according to the electoral Commission.
Mr Kobore  secured 53.5% of the total vote,the Independent National Electoral Commission said there is need for a second round election.
His main rival finance minister Zephirin Diabre secured 21.6% vote.
The election ends the transitional government following the toppling of Compoare who now lives in exil in Ivory Coast
