Asia Bibi a Christian woman has been on death row since 2010 in Pakistan , she was sentenced to death for blasphemy, for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammed,
The 50 year old mother of 5 was convicted since 2010 for insulting Mohammed during a row with a Muslim co-worker over a bowl of water
Her last appeal was turn down and her death sentence confirmed by a high Court in Eastern City of lahore
dashing all hope of commuting her sentence to jail term
In an open letter to her supporters, she said You are my only hope of staying alive in this dungeon, so please don’t abandon me,' she said. 'I did not commit blaphesmy.'
Her lawyer filed her final appeal this week to the Supreme Court.
No country can make meaningful advancement and progress with religious laws made to trap others
