Nov/Dec WASSCE: 70% of candidates Failed

      


72,522 out of 246,853 Candidate that wrote Nov/Dec 2014  West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination got credits in five subject including Mathematics and English,this represent 29.37% while 70.63% failed

The Head of the Examination Council in Nigeria  Mr Charles Eguridu, while announcing the result in Lagos Thursday said there was an improvement in performance compared to last year,were 26.97%  obtain five credit including Mathematics and English, ( 80,135 ) candidates,
He also added that there was a reduction in examination malpractice due to new measure introduce which includes biometric registration,customize mathematical set with inbuilt calculators
He said  the examination council has withheld some results which are under investigation and also there is a 20% fall of the Candidates that enrolled this year to the number of 61,364 of 308,217 that wrote it last year
