The Governor of Delta State Emmanuel Uduaghan On Wednesday presented the State 2015 Budget to the State House of Assembly
There he discloses that N7 billion will be spent on the completion of Ughelli-Asabe dual carriage road, the completion of which will improve traffic flow from Asaba to Warri Port .
he also added that N5 billion is proposed for the completion of five flyover in Warri and Asaba, N3billion, for the completion of 24 km trans Warri Ode Itsekiri access road
H said his government has constructed more than 1206 Km of road and 663 km of concrete lined drainage
”We have also completed the construction of 17 bridges of various spans and another 25 bridges are at various stages of completion,’’ he said.
He also mention the commencement of work on Asaba -Okpanam dual carriage road,which will improve flow of traffic between Asaba and it satellite towns
The drainage he said were intended to check the erosion and flooding in Okpanam road and Asaba metropolis
