Nigerian A-List comedian AY have set a new record in Nigeria cinema, His movie 30 days in Atlanta, have done amazingly well across cinema Nationwide grossing N76 million in 7 weeks of showing,
This was announce by Guy Bruce The Director of Silverbird Distribution Company on Wednesday at silverbird Galleria at a special reception to celebrate the cast and crew
“That it is N76 million is quite impressive for a Nollywood film, Bruce said, and we are so proud of AY. We hope he does more movies.”
In the recent past,Through the glass by Stephanie Okereke gross a total of N10 million,Figurine by kunle Afolani gross N20 million,Ije in 2010 gross N57 million, Half of a Yellow Sun by Chimamanda Adichie gross N60 million,while Oct 1 reached N50 million as estimated by West Africa Agent for United International picture Uwem Jacobs
It is believe,that 30 days in Atlanta will reach a mark of N100 million by the end of the year
