Jibrin Abdulmumin Suspended By House of Rep

                              

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has suspended  the former chairman of its committee on appropriation, Honourable Abdulmumin Jibrin for 180 days
Jibrin, a member of Nigeria’s ruling APC, was suspended for allegedly breaching the practices of the House and must submit a letter of apology to its members before he is allowed to sit.
Jibrin  had accused the leadership of the House of altering the country’s budget, in what is now being referred to in the Nigerian media as the Budget Padding Scandal.
