President Buhari will be leaving Abuja for Saudi Arabia and Qatar on Monday to meet officials to discuss the stability of oil price.
Buhari will be away for one week and will be accompanied by a high power delegation of government officials including the Minister of state for petroleum and GMD of NNPC Dr Ibe Kachukwu.
President Buhari would fly to Riyadyh, on Tuesday, the Saudi Arabia capital to hold talks with King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and senior officials of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President Mr Femi Adesina in a Statement stated that
"Ongoing efforts by Nigeria and other members of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) to achieve greater stability in the price of crude oil exports are expected to be high on the agenda of discussions between President Buhari and the Saudi Monarch.”
“Crude oil prices and market stability will also be on the front burner when President Buhari goes on to Doha on Saturday for talks on Sunday with the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.”Buhari is also expected to meet with businessmen to discuss investment in mining, Agriculture,Power supply, transportation,communication and other sectors.
After holding meetings with international Financial organisation and multilateral Associations in Saudi, Buhari is will proceed to Medina and Mecca to pray for peace and stability of the country.
