The Current Governor of Adamawa State Jibrilla Bindow said he almost lost the election to become the governor if not for former vice president Atiku Abubakar a Chieftain of All Progressive Party APC who donated N500m to his campaign.
He disclosed this while receiving Jimeta community elders as he accused some powerful politicians for attempting to run down his campaign for not doing their bid.
“Apart from the money from the headquarters, nobody gave me ten naira during the campaign. The former Vice President asked me if we had any financial problem. So, I called the party secretary, Abdullahi Bakari, who put our demand at N300 million. Then, the former Vice President sent N500m through Jauro,” he said
Good Choice Gov. Muhammad Jibrilla Bindow, For acknowledging Turaki and dumping him after getting into power like most politicians would have done. It's shows you're reliable and can be trusted.
ReplyDeleteTuraki Adamawa is a great democrat, Statesman and a leader every young politician should be happy and proud to be associated with..
He’s a detribalised Nigeria politician whose popularity spread across the length and breadth of the country, So I don’t blame Gov. Bindow having him as a role model.
Good governance is sure for the Adamawa people with Atiku Abubakar a chieftain of the APC involved.
