INEC Card Reader Pass Test

                      


The Mock test of the INEC card reader for the permanent voters Card was successful on Saturday with some little exception, the Machine in some cases could not read some voters finger print, INEC official said some of those people either had dirty fingers due to the fact that they were just returning from work without properly washing of their hands
Secondly, the time of accreditation took too long, the slow pace of the machine may be an issue of concern, it took about a minute per voter,in an instance when a polling unit has 1000 voters,it means a 1000 mins which is 16 hours, longer than the 5 hours  time estimated for accreditation given by INEC
