Gov Akpabio donates N3.5 million to patients with Kidney disease

                          


The Governor of Akwa Ibom state on Sunday 8th March donated the sum of N3.5 million to 4 patient of Kidney disease at the University of Uyo teaching Hospital (UUTH)
The governor who paid a surprise visit  to the Hospital felt pitied for the patients who were placed on live saving machine and was driven to make the donation, as he was taking a tour of the hospital lead by the Chief Medical Director of the Hospital Professor Etete Peters


Akpabio Encouraging the patient said ‘’God is the giver and taker of life and because he is the ultimate owner of man’s existence we need to pray in supplications to him
“I understand that one of you was to celebrate his birthday today but could not do so because he has to come for dialysis. I was greatly touched and I felt I should come here personally and see him.”
He also commend the effort of the Medical Director in saving lives in the teaching hospital.the CMD thank the Governor and ask for his support in the on going expansion of the facility since it is the only place in the place where patient are referred to.
