Ugandan Supreme Court Bans Refund of Braid Prize

                            

Uganda's Supreme court has ruled that the Practice of refunding bride prize on dissolution of Marriage is unconstitutional,and would be henceforth not practiced,
It is a common practice in Africa and some part of the world to pay some amount of money to a bride family when marrying her.this kind of Money is what is called the Bride Prize,which is normally in form of livestocks in some areas or money and is usually refunded on demand during Divorce.
