Minister of State For Petroleum Arrives State House

Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, arrives at the State House, Abuja for a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday.

Kachikwu declined comments after emerging from the meeting with President Buhari, which lasted over an hour.
When reporters approached him and sought to know what transpired during his meeting with the President, Kachikwu only said: “No comment.”
The meeting came barely few days after Kachikwu wrote to the President accusing the Group Managing Director of the NNPC Maikanti Baru of sundry administrative misdemeanour, including the alleged fraudulent $25billion contract he said was capable of jeopardising the administration’s policies aimed at repositioning the petroleum sector.
