One of the Chibok girls kidnapped back in 2014 by Boko Haram is reported to have escaped Wednesday from Boko Haram and was rescued by the Nigerian Troops.
According to a statement by presidential spokesman Femi Adesina,The girl was found 2 weeks after 82 of the girls were released in exchange for 5 Boko haram Commander.
"The details are yet to fully unravel. But in terms of is it true? Yes, it is true. I learnt she is already being brought to [the capital] Abuja but I have not seen her," Adesina told reporters.
