               WHAT THE ANOINTING CAN DO FOR YOU.

 TEXT: Acts 6

 INTRODUCTION: The anointing can do for you whatever will give you a good life physically and spiritually, if you are a member of the family of God. Jesus promised before His crucifixion that He would not leave us as orphans (Jn. 14:18). He fulfilled this promise, by sending the Helper on the day of Pentecost to carry on his work until his second coming. We still have all things pertaining to life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).


WHAT IS ANOINTING? 

1. The agent of creation
2. The power that disgraced the gods of Egypt and released the Israelites from bondage
3. The steering wheel of the church
4. The power that breaks all yokes
5. The power that makes the kingdom of darkness powerless
6. The agent in the new birth -John. 3:5-8
7. The power that brought explosive growth to MFM
8. The consuming fire of God
9. The power that established the church
10. The invisible power that is invincible in battles
11. Assurance of the Lord Jesus indwelling believers

 CONCLUSION: Every believer needs the anointing. This power of God is free, it transforms lives positively and it is available. But it comes with a price which is acknowledging God as your Lord and Saviour and servicing this relationship with Him every day. Are you doing this?
