South African prosecutor says today that they will push for a longer sentence against Oscar pistorius who was jailed 6 years early this month for killing his girl friend Reeva Steenkamp.
The National Prosecuting Authority said in a statement,'The sentence of six years imprisonment, in all the circumstances, is disproportionate to the crime of murder committed (and) shockingly too lenient.
