Gunmen Raid UniJos VC's Home Kills Security Guard

  

The home of the new vice Chancellor of University of Jos was attacked on Wednesday night by unknown gunmen,killing a private security man ,injuring another and a policemen.
The injured private security guard was whisked  away while the police officer gun was seized by the gunmen.

The Vice Chancellor ,Mr Maimoko who assumed office in June was out of Nigeria during the attack.
Spokesman for the university, Abdullahi Abdullahi,who confirmed the incident  said details would be released in an official statement by the university authority later.

But a witness,Mr Serki said “A policeman was shot at the leg and his gun was taken away by the attackers. Two other security men of the university attached to the Vice Chancellor were also shot, one on the head, another on his chest; the one that was shot in the chest died on the spot, but another survived,”
