The Nigerian Army lead by the Chief of Army Staff, Major Gen Buratai Tukur may has concluded to establish a new brigade in the heart of Sambisa forest, to tackle the Boko Haram and prevent them from holding any territory from were they launch attacks.
The brigade will be drawn from the 7th division of the army in Maiduguri.the establishment of this new brigade is in an effort to reorganize the army
The army spokesperson Col Sani Umar, also said that the court martial has been dissolved and all disciplinary cases are been reviewed due to waves of litigation by aggrieved persons,it is also learnt that the brigade will be called 29th Special Task force under the 7th division and will responsible for pursuing the insurgent in the Vast Sambisa forest,the brigade was created with the believe that Insurgents still hide in the Forest from were they launch attack.
