Chief of Army Staff escapes Boko Haram Ambush

                      

The Chief of Army Staff Major General Buratai narrowly escaped Boko Haram ambush on the Maiduguri-Dikwa road  of Borno yesterday.
The advance team however lost one soldier to the ambush but 5 of the terrorist where killed in a gun battle.
The advance team was on their way to Dikwa ahead of the COAS who was visiting troops in town and villages recently liberated from the terrorist.
On his way to Dikwa the COAS Convoy stopped  and order the arrest of suspected four cattle herdsmen who later confessed they are member of the Boko haram sect ,they were whisked Immediately to Maiduguri
