President Buhari has concluded plans to recover all government properties still with officials who served under former president Jonathan.
Properties which includes houses, Cars generators and many other are said to still be in possession of those official after leaving office.
Buhari angered by this development has set up a committee made up of civilians and security agencies to identify and retrieve those properties from the former political appointees as part of the President effort to reclaim Nigerian stolen asset.
Mallam Shehu Garba Senior Special Adviser, to the President on Media and Publicity confirmed the development on Sunday.
He said, “That is precisely the case. Even here at the Presidential Villa, there are cars and other property belonging to the government,which are yet to be returned.
“The property belong to the Nigerian people. We are not trying to humiliate anyone by asking them to return their cars or houses.”
Although Mallam Shehu did not disclose the Identity of the ex government official still in possession of this property.
