Buhari Appoints PWC,KPMG,to Audit CBN NNPC FIRS

                                
The Federal Government has appointed Auditing and Accounting Firm Pricewaterhousecooper,(PwC) and  Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) to audit the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation NNPC and other Agencies.

Also among government agencies to be audited are Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA).Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)and Department of Petroleum Resources

Others are Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Office of the Accountant General of the Federation, Nigerian Extractive Industry Transparency Initiative (NEITI),Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Revenue and Mobilisation Allocation Federation Commission (RMAFC) Federal Ministry of Finiance among others.
Former President Jonathan has been accused by the All Progressive Congress APC for undermining the thorough check of these agencies.
