Adamawa State University,Mubi, recruits 80 hunters and vigilantes as it reopens for the academics session, as disclosed by the Vice Chancellor Prof Joshua Shall.
He said the role the hunter and vigilante Played in helping the military to recapture Mubi from Boko Haram in 2014 is well known
He said though 95% of the student has resumed for classes, there was a wide scale destruction of school property worth N5bn by the Insurgents.the institution lost 11 staffs and 3 students
“They (insurgents) broke into all offices, staff quarters, hostels, laboratories, stores and looted properties,” he said.
He added that the school resumed through the intervention recieved from TETFUND worth N250 million
