Abdullahi Dikko, Custom Comptroller General Submit Resignation to President Buhari

                              

The Nigerian Customs Comptroller General, Abdullahi Dikko has submitted his resignation notice to President Buhari indicating he wish to leave the Job by August 18.
Dikko has 2 more years before he is eligible to leave the service,but it is uncleared why he choose to quit in a week time,but source told SaharaReporters, that several senior custom leaders are been investigated for corruption and may be fired any time soon or arrested.
President Buhari have earlier rejected his resignation asking him to give him time to study the customs operation,but later accepted it.Buhari is said to be looking for someone from the South South to fill the position.


  In 2009, one Olajide Oyewoleaccused Alhaji Inde Dikko of having forged his academic credentials with his help.
Oyewole said the Customs boss illegally obtained Certificates No 10912 and 10993) belonging to the Nigerian Institute of Management, and also forged the West African Examinations Council Certificate No. NGSG 37836, documents that enabled him to eventually become Comptroller-General of Customs in a video testimony
