N750m to build three worship centres. Defence Academy? Send a budget like this to me, I will delete the line and also ask God to minister healing to your heart. Where were these folks praying before now? Really and truly, is this the best use of N750million at a time like this when people are hungry and groaning? Why do we make it look like we will attain development just by building more religious houses? Do we really think we can fool God? That we can abandon and forget the hungry, pretend maternal mortality and child mortality are just numbers, ignore the over 10 million children roaming the streets and out of school, pretend we don't have young and able people able to create jobs with just a little support. But almost N1billion to build worship centres. You see, as long as most of us pretend that some others will scream on our behalf, forget it, this country will never ever change. We must all raise our voices. Even if limited to social media, when a million Nigerians scream against anything, no government can dare such voices. But no. We are all just looking to create our own comfort zones while we domicile such cosmetic comforts in a country begging for collective action and progress. N750m for worship centre? Oro iso k'uso .
