Lol! Cop Pulled over Black Driver and Offered Her Ice Cream, Not a Gunshot (Video)

Police Chief Kevin Lands and Officer Brian Warner pulled over drivers

But not to arrest them but to offer them ice cream on a hot day in Virginia 

She breaks down in tears of joy when the officers present two free cones

Officer Warner says: 'Good afternoon ma'am. My name is Officer Warner and I am with the Halifax Police Department. Do you know the reason why I pulled you over today?'

No sir,' responds the woman.

The policeman says: 'Are you familiar with vehicle code 1.7.3.9?'

Before claiming: 'Well it's actually against the law to drive on a hot day without an ice cream cone.

'So on behalf of the Halifax Police Department, we're just making sure everybody is following all the laws today and are driving with ice cream.'
