Nobody or Group Should Claim Buhari's Victory at 2015 Election- Obasanjo

                               

Ex president Obasanjo,said nobody or group should claim the glory for Buhari's victory in the presidential election that brought him to power.

Dismissing such report, he said he never made such claim, Obasanjo who spoke in Jalingo during a visit to the state governor Darius Dickson Ishiaku, said the emergence of Buhari was an overwhelming decision of all Nigerian as demonstrated in the polls.

“It is inconsiderate of any single person or group to claim the glory.

He said,“I am astounded by media reports quoting me as saying that I and few other persons brought President Buhari to power to save Nigeria.

“I have never said that, because it is not true. Nigerians voted overwhelmingly for the President and we are all witnesses to that fact. No single person or group can claim that glory.” He said.
