Photos:Street Named After Saro Wiwa In Amsterdam Holland

I was Shocked as i walked by recently   in Amsterdam South East,to see a street named after Environmental Activist from Ogoniland Late Ken Saro Wiwa  who was summarily executed by hanging by late General Abacha,then military Head of State with the support of SHELL, for agitating for the clean up of Ogoniland messed up by Shell from Oil exploration and drilling activities.why name a street after a man you never try to save,who died through your support to the Military..Shell a Dutch Company denied involvement in his death but settled a law suit to the family of Saro Wiwa.  More photos
