German Police Shoot Dead Mask Gunman Man who Storm and Open Fire at a Cinema Complex

   Heavily-armed police stand outside a cinema complex where an armed man has opened fire

A masked gunman has been shot dead by police after storming a German cinema complex and opening fire.The gunman apparently entered the Kinopolis cinema 'Rambo-style' with a gunbelt of cartridges draped across his shoulder and his weapon in his hand. 


As people ran from the cinema screaming he opened fire and unleashed tear gas.
At least 20 people are thought to have been injured when tear gas was released into the confined space. 

   The German Ministry of Interior announced the gunman had been shot dead  

  Elite SEK police commandos were helicoptered to the scene before storming the cinema
  According to initial media reports, the man entered the cinema today at approximately 3pm, fired a shot in the air and barricaded himself inside
