The Iyaloja of Ijebu-ode,Alhaja Sadia Elewuju was assassinated by unknown men at her residence on Wednesday,the Killer who were about six in number stormed the home of the 82 years old Elewuju at about 3pm and attacked her with machete,cutting her several times recklessly.
She gave up the ghost on her way to the hospital.Sources close to the Iyaloja said she is an influential person who is outspoken in any issue.
“She is always very vocal and fierce in her position on any matter. She has championed many causes for women, especially market women.
“She’s very popular in political circles. The house she lived in was given to her by the former Ogun State governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel,” the source added.
