President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan gave automatic employment to 164 NYSC members who won the award for their outstanding performance during their service year in an event which held at the presidential Villa on Monday.
He said those still unemployed will be absorbed into the Civil Service and also announced full scholarship to those who want to continue their studies among the 164,the Awardees were selected from 2012,2013,2014 batches of the NYSC
Under the Hope Alive NYSC Programme Corpers who were disabled by accident or some other disaster were given N23.5 million cash,Ibeto Group donated N5million to 9 injured corp members, who could not attend the event ,also Governor of Akwa Ibom State Godswill Akpabio donated N5 million and Heritage Bank donated N1.5million each to 9 of the injured corpers.
