Justice Walter Onnoghen Takes Oath of Office as Nigeria Chief Justice

         

Justice Walter Onnoghen has been sworn in on Tuesday by the Acting President Yemi Osinbajo as the New Chief Justice of Nigeria at the Council Chambers of the Aso Rock Presidential Villa in Abuja.
He was also decorated by the Acting-President with the national honour of the Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON) as customary with the inauguration of CJN.
Justice Onnoghen in his remark promised to lead the judiciary and ensure the independence of the arm of government. He urged all to adhere strictly to the rule of law.
