The Director of Ibrahim Babangida University Research Centre, Professor Nuhu Obaje, disclosed in Lagos on Thursday that crude oil deposit has been discovered in Bida Basin.
He said he has made this information known to the Niger state government and the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.
Obaje also said his centre has introduced a technology for quick crude oil discovery and drilling at the exhibition of raw materials and local products in the Manufacturing and Equipment EXPO Nigeria 2017, in Lagos.
