About 30 vehicles were recovered by special investigation panel (SIP) from retire IGP solomon Arase and 7 deputy inspector General that retired along with him.
The panel was set up by current IGP Idris when he raise the alarm over disappearance of police vehicle from the force headquarters.
Though ex IGP denied taking any of the cars then, about 30 of the missing vehicles were recovered from him and his fellow retired DIGs,some of the cars recovered are three BMW cars, including a 7-series model, three Toyota Hilux pick-up vans, four Nissan pick-up vans, nine Sports Utility Vehicles consisting of two Nissan Patrols and seven Toyota Prado Landcruisers,three brand new 2014 Toyota Corolla cars with registration numbers NPF 2211 D and NPF 2212D and a new Toyota Siena without a registration number.
Some of the retired officers voluntarily returned 11 of cars.
