President-elect Donald Trump has agreed to pay $25m to settle lawsuit against Trump University.The suit was brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman, as well as two class action suits in California.
$21 million will go to settle the class-action suits while $4 million will cover the victims of the suit brought by Schneiderman,
About 6,000 former students are covered by the settlement will receive at least half of their money back.
"We are pleased to announce the complete resolution of all litigation involving Trump University," a Trump Organization spokesperson said.This deal will prevent Trump from testifying in the trial that was set for November 28
