Soldier Shot Dead In Rio Slum Control By Drug Lord

Soldier, from the elite Forca Nacional (National Force) guarding the Olympic Games was shot in the head as he drove a marked pickup truck into one of the city's most dangerous shantytowns  controlled by drug gang by mistake,The Forca Nacional pickup was sprayed with gunfire as it drove into a shantytown - or favela - close to the international airport, and one soldier died.Two of his comrade were seriously wounded on Wednesday.
