Many Ijaw People are Missing After The Invasion By Military

         

Many Ijaw people,women and Children have been reported missing by the Ijaw National Congress,INC, after the invasion of Gbaramatu community,ex militant Tompolo's town, in Warri South Local Government Area by Nigerian Military.

The National Secretary of INC,Dr Bibobra  Orubebe said there are now internally displaced persons trapped in the creeks who may die of hunger if humanitarian agencies don't come to their aid,and at same time calling for unconditional cease fire on both side.

Orubebe said,

 “As we speak, the whereabouts of many Ijaw people are unknown. Children who went to do the National Examination Council are stranded in the forest. We call on all parties to declare unconditional ceasefire and give way for dialogue.”
