Louisiana Kentucky independent filmmaker Matthew Fulks is suing Beyonce ,claiming she stole the idea from his 2014 short film for the trailer for her visual album lemonade.
The video was released in April ahead of the album release,Matthew legal team has filed a suit claiming Lemonade is 'substantially similar' to his 2014 short Palinoia.
The document lists nine instances where visuals in Palinoia are 'parroted' in Lemonade, making up 39 seconds of the 60-second Lemonade promotional video.
Those cited in the complaint include 'graffiti and persons with heads down,' 'red persons with eyes obscured,' 'parking garage,' 'stairwell,' 'black and white eyes,' 'title card screens,' 'the grass scene,' 'feet on the street,' 'side-lit ominous figures.'
