Italy To Double Child Benefit To Counter Fail In Birth Rate

The move comes after fewer babies were born in 2015 than in any year since the modern state of Italy was founded 154 years ago

Italy experienced the lowest number of birth in 2015 since the state was founded 150 years ago in 1861.This development triggered the health Minister of the country to called for lower income families to be given double the €80 (£60) currently handed out by the state, while also stating that higher payments should be given out for second and subsequent children.
