When you put up the picture of an expensive wristwatch or car, why do people ask questions like would it tell you when Jesus is coming? Can it drive me to heaven? Isn't this poverty mentality???? I'm just asking
If you want to know what a real lavish lifestyle is, let me take you to the bible; "1 Kings 4:22-23 KJV
[22] And Solomon's provision for ONE DAY was thirty measures of fine flour, and threescore measures of meal, [23] Ten fat oxen, and twenty oxen out of the pastures, and an hundred sheep, beside harts, and roebucks, and fallowdeer, and fatted fowl." SOLOMON and his 1000 women consumed 30 cows IN ONE DAY, EVERYDAY, along with 100 sheep + different types of bushmeat and fatted fowls. Choi! Let's do the math! In today's standards, a fatted cow goes for about 150k x 30 cows that is about N4.5m, 100 sheep at 30k is N3m, lets just summarize things like bushmeat, chicken etc that the bible mentioned and the caterers that will cook 30 cows and 100 rams everyday at N1.5m. (I'm sure it would be waaaaay more than that) so its 4.5+3+1.5 and that brings the total to 9m everyday! Multiply by 30days in a month and you get N270,000,000, meaning that the wisest man that ever lived, ate the equivalent of the latest 2016 Ferrari 488GTB priced at N218m + the latest autobiography Range Rover priced at N52 million every month!!!!
Never did the bible refer to the fact that King Solomon ate a 2016 Ferrari every month as wasteful! Why, because he was blessed. When you are blessed enough to buy a N218m Naira car in a time of famine are you not doing what Isaac did in a time of famine in the book of genesis? "Genesis 26:12 KJV
[12] Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year an hundredfold: and the Lord blessed him."..... If someone legitimately makes money and buys something they like shouldn't we be happy for them and stop worrying about when Jesus would come because if you are a poor man living in sin he still won't carry you with him!
