President Buhari Insist that devaluation of the Naira will not benefit the vast majority of Nigerians,insisting that past devaluation of the Naira brought nothing positive to the citizen and there was nothing to show for it.
The President said, at a meeting with members of the Council of Retired Federal Permanent Secretaries, that he still held the conviction which motivated his principled resistance to devaluation during his first tenure as Head of State, because past exercises gave Nigerians neither additional jobs nor factories.
