A man was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment by Justice Ibrahim Buba of Federal High Court Lagos for printing fake Nigerian currency.
James Onwuso,was arrested in November 15 2011 at Gbagada area of Lagos, he was said to be in possession of fake N200,N500,and N1,000 note with a printing Machine.
Justice Buba in his judgement today ordered the fake money seized and the Printing machine forfeited to the Central Bank of Nigeria.\
James Onwuso in a confessional statement told investigator that he went into the counterfeiting business after retiring from the army, and he has people that supply him papers.
