The Emir of Kano Muhammadu Sanusi II has ordered the Kano Sharia Commission to liaise with the Office of the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 1 to commence the process of repatriating an underage girl Ese Oruru 14, who was adopted from Bayelsa by one Yunusa,of Kura local government area of Kano and forced to be converted to Islam and married her as a his wife changing her name to Aisha.
The Emir in his reaction distance himself ,the Kano emirate council from the abduction of Ese Oruru by his lover.
Sanusi II said “I have ordered the sharia commission to liaise with the office of Deputy Inspector General of police zone to repatriate and reconcile the teenager with her family immediately”
she was abducted from Opolo Yenegoa local government of Bayelsa, sometime August 2015
