Why I Will Not Reconcile With Igbinedion - Oshiomhole

Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State said he may not reconcile with Chief Igbinedion the Esama of Benin for disrespecting his office as a governor and seeing himself as bigger than the state.
Oshiomhole was responding to plea by members of Okada community in Igbinedion Local government area Ovia North East Local Government where he went to commission a project executed by the chairman Mrs Lucy Omagbon.

The Project a set of Classrooms and a 3 storey building named after the Governor were executed in Okada Igbinedion's ancestral home.

“I heard the Chairman talking about my quarrel with Igbinedion. I have no problem with anybody. There are only four levels of government, federal, state, local and traditional institution. The House of Igbinedion does not belong to any of this. He is a chief and I respect him as a chief but he must respect constituted authorities, the office of the governor of Edo State. This governor cannot be harassed, he cannot be blackmailed. And I stand ready to defend that office.”Oshiomhole Said.
