The UK has deployed a team of 35 soldiers from the 2 battalion Royal Anglian Regiment to train Nigerian solders fighting Boko haram.the training will be an infantry training to the personel.
British Defence Secretary announced last Month that a step up of training to help the Nigerian Army wipe out boko haram.
Fallon said: “We stand united with Nigeria in its efforts to defeat the murderous Boko Haram extremists. Stepping up our training efforts will help support the Armed Forces of Nigeria (AFN) for crucial counter-insurgency operations.”
The Defence Secretary announcement will see British troop increased in the next years with up to 300 providing support this year.
