Meet Olivia Retter and her mother Karly. Olivia is a 9-year-old from Hertfordshire, England who recently got a burn after falling asleep on top of her cell phone
According to her mom, the 9-year-old is not allowed to use her cellphone at night: “Olivia is not supposed to have her phone in her bedroom at night, but she sneaked it in and had it in her bed, so she fell asleep with it touching her leg.”
Olivia got a chemical burn from her cellphone's unicorn-decorated case. The case contained some liquid and glitter, but the liquid turned out to be some sort of acid!
Doctors treated her wound but had some sad news for Olivia and her mother: “Doctors have said it is a severe chemical burn, and she will be scarred for life.
