Six people has been reported killed by a suspected suicide bomber today in a Redeemed Christian Church of God along Bauchi road in Potiskum town in Yobe.
According to residents the bomb went off as believer were observing today's Sunday service.
The Police Public Relation Officer in Yobe, Toyin Gbadegesin has confirmed the incidence to News Agency of Nigeria,NAN,that the bomber was among the dead
“A male suicide bomber detonated a bomb at Redeemed Church at Jigawa area of Potiskum, killing five on the spot,” Mr. Gbadegesin said. “A female member of the church who sustained injuries also died while receiving treatment in the hospital.”
Those that are injured are recieving treatment at various health facilities he added.
